Budget 2023: 25 new patrol posts to secure borders


PETALING JAYA: The Finance Minister announced that 25 new patrol posts will be added at the country’s borders involving several enforcement agencies.

Under Budget 2023, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said the new patrol posts would involve the General Operations Force (PGA), Immigration Department, Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom), Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency for some locations including in Sarikei, Sarawak and Lahad Datu, Sabah, among others.
