Help us trace missing housewife, say Melaka cops


MELAKA: Police are seeking the help of the public to trace a 54-year-old housewife after she went missing for almost six months,

Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit said the woman's husband lodged a police report on March 23 after his attempts to contact her were not successful.

The woman is identified as Koh Keng Jee and her last known address is Jalan Cheng Perdana.

"The couple has a 27-year-old daughter," he said on Thursday (Oct 6).

ACP Christopher said the 60-year-old husband shared a cordial relationship with his wife and that the couple had no misunderstanding.

However, he said her businessman husband told police that his wife was addicted to gambling and was recently in debts.

ACP Christopher said the woman was last seen wearing a T-shirt and long pants.

He urged those with information to contact Sjn Ahmad Harun at 013-4025 710.
