Covid-19 Watch: 1,667 new cases bring total to 4,821,864

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,667 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (Sept 20), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 1,665 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 2 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,821,864 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 7 deaths were recorded on Tuesday with 2 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,324.
