Woman and two children, including special-needs infant, reported missing

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman and her two children have been reported missing after they were last seen leaving her partner's house in Muar.

In a statement Thursday (Sept 15), MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong said the three were last seen leaving the house in a silver car on Sept 3.

The woman, identified as Chinese national Deng Lan Ying, 42, has disappeared along with her five-year-old daughter and six-month-old son.

"According to the complainant, a Mr Tong Kim Soo, the house was in a mess and his partner did not take the baby's milk bottle and medicine.

"CCTV footage showed a silver car making several rounds in front of his house.

"He is worried because the baby, his son, has special needs and is on medication. A police report was lodged at the Muar police station on Sept 11," he said.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact the Public Services and Complaints Department at 03-2716 5954.
