Citizenship for children born abroad to Malaysian mothers: Sept 28 set for case management of Family Frontiers' appeal


PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court has set Sept 28 for case management of the leave to appeal application filed by the Association of Family Support & Welfare Selangor & Kuala Lumpur (Family Frontiers) and six Malaysian mothers against the Court of Appeal's ruling denying automatic citizenship to children born overseas to Malaysian mothers with foreign spouses.

One of their lawyers, Abraham Au when contacted, confirmed that they were notified on Monday (Aug 29) by the court of the case management date which would be conducted online.
