Muar Bomba rescues boy with fingers caught in game machine


MUAR: Firemen had to break apart a game machine to rescue a boy whose fingers got stuck in the device.

Bukit Gambir fire station chief Mohd Farizan Mokhtar said they received a call about the incident at 4.41pm on Monday (Aug 22).

"Eight firemen from the station were deployed to the supermarket in Bukit Gambir near here where the incident occurred,'' he said in a statement.

Mohd Farizan said firemen used special tools to break apart the device.

"The nine-year-old victim was unhurt,'' he said.

The operation led by senior officer II Mohd Khalid Mohd Aris ended at 5.10pm.
