Chicken exports: Govt needs one or two months to decide on lifting ban, says PM

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will wait for another month or two before lifting the ban on chicken exports, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Ismail Sabri said this was necessary to ensure that the country’s chicken supply was sufficient and the price was stable even though there was currently an oversupply of chicken in the market.
