MERELY four days after announcing he was quitting all social media, entrepreneur Datuk Aliff Syukri is back, Kosmo! reported.

Aliff had previously said he realised he no longer wanted to be on social media.

However, he uploaded two videos to promote his song with singer Baby Shima, saying he was sharing the video promoting his latest single titled Baby Sayang because his voice was “too good not to share.”

“Please forgive me. My voice is too good to keep. I need to highlight my talent for the sake of my loyal fans. I know many are jealous of my talent,” he said.

The 34-year-old’s actions immediately drew criticism from the public.

“Hungry for attention,” said one user.

Even celebrities weighed in with sarcastic comments.

“Remember long lost Datuk. Can’t stand it?” said actress and radio host Sharifah Shahira.

A few days earlier, Aliff had been heavily criticised when he behaved inappropriately with Baby Shima to promote their new single.

His mother also criticised his behaviour, which was considered excessive.

> From making cakes at home, a woman from Kampung Gadek, Alor Gajah, Melaka has gone on to set up her own business, reported Sinar Harian.

The owner of Izz Cakery, 35-year-old Fazilia Abu Hassan, previously worked in the administrative department of a factory in Alor Gajah. She had resigned in 2010 to fully focus on baking.

Fazilia said the RM1,500 earned through her bonus while working was used to buy some baking equipment including a small oven.

A few years later, the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (Risda) awarded her a grant of RM10,000 to buy business equipment and tools.

Fazilia said her journey had not been easy, but her hard work paid off when she successfully expanded her business after moving her operations to a shop in Kampung Gadek.

The mother of two said she never regretted her decision to quit her job, although it was difficult to get customers in the beginning.
