KL Tower, DBKL Tower 1 lit up to mark India’s 75th Independence Day


PETALING JAYA: Two landmark buildings in Kuala Lumpur – the KL Tower and Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur Tower - are lit up with special illumination in marking India’s 75th Independence Day.

The High Commission of India said KL Tower would be lit up with Indian Tri-Colour Illumination from 8pm to 11pm and DBKL Tower 1 will be illuminated with Special LED projection from 7pm to midnight.

“All Indian nationals in Malaysia may wish to witness the special illuminations or projections at these iconic monuments on Aug 15,” it said in a statement.

Earlier, the High Commission of India in Kuala Lumpur observed the country’s 75th anniversary of Independence with a flag hoisting ceremony at India House on Monday (Aug 15).
