Umno set to contest in Beaufort despite Azizah's no compromise stand

Beaufort Umno leaders ready to contest the seat in the coming general election.

KOTA KINABALU: Umno is prepared to contest the Beaufort Parliament seat now held by Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Sabah Srikandi chief.

Beaufort Division Umno vice chairman Awang Damit Jion said that the division was more or less prepared to contest the seat, as they have activated all the 24 district polling centres.
