Rafizi, Amirudin appointed to chair FT, Selangor PKR leadership councils

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli and vice-president Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari have respectively been appointed as the new Federal Territories and Selangor state leadership council chairmen.

PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the decision was agreed upon at a joint meeting of Selangor and Federal Territories PKR branch heads on Wednesday (Aug 3).

"I believe the appointment is to expedite the party's preparedness to face the 15th General Election," he said on Facebook. – Bernama
