Nursery operator fined RM7,000 for causing hurt to two-year-old girl

KUALA LUMPUR: A nursery operator has been fined RM7,000 by the Sessions Court here for abusing a two-year-old girl in June.

Judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamed Khalid imposed the fine on Azlinawaty Julaihi, 41, on Wednesday (Aug 3) after she pleaded guilty to slapping the child several times until both her eyes were swollen and her right cheek was bruised.
