Foreigner suffers burns in Klang shophouse fire


KLANG: A foreigner suffered burns on his body when a fire broke out at a shophouse in Bandar Bukit Klang.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the fire on Sunday (July 31) destroyed nearly 50% of the building.

He said they were informed of the incident at 11.41am.

“One person, a 45-year-old Bangladeshi man, suffered burns to his shoulder."

Norazam added that the fire had been extinguished and they were investigating the cause of the incident.
