Influencer makes police report after details of his traffic summons go public


GOMBAK: Details of a social media influencer have been leaked online, prompting him to lodge a police report.

In a statement Wednesday (July 20), Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said that the report was lodged on July 19.

"The influencer saw that his photos and notice of summons for a traffic offence with private details have been circulating online," he said.

The case is being investigated for disclosure of information and improper use of network services.

Those with information are urged to contact investigating officer Insp Ishak Abu Bakar at 03-6126 2222 or 011-3903 2329.

Previously, the influencer in question was issued a summons by the police after he was caught driving without a license.

Photos of the summons were then circulated online.
