Covid-19 Watch: 3,080 new cases bring total to 4,626,061


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 3,080 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (July 18), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 3,079 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there was 1 imported case.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,626,061 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 7 deaths were recorded on Monday with 3 classified as being brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,862.
