Wife of Pengkalan Kubor assemblyman passes away


TUMPAT: Wan Norihan Wan Ab Rahman, the wife of Kelantan State Youth, Sports and Non-Governmental Organisations Committee chairman Wan Roslan Wan Hamat, died at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) on Saturday (July 16) evening.

Anas Karimi Ahmad, the special officer to Wan Roslan, who is Pengkalan Kubor assemblyman, said Wan Norihan, 54, died at 6.55pm.

"She had a heart condition and only recently underwent a coronary bypass at a private hospital,” he said when contacted today.

He said shortly after Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Wan Norihan suffered from fluids in her lungs and was in the intensive care unit of a private hospital for 26 days before being transferred to HUSM.
