Cops arrest two men over murder of foreigner in Kelana Jaya

PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested two local men here in connection with the murder of a foreigner in Kelana Jaya.

The body of a man in his 30s was found naked at about 2.50pm on Tuesday (July 12) near a residential building.

"Initial investigation indicated that he may have fallen from the building.

"However, we suspected foul play and tracked down the culprits we believe were responsible for the murder," said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid.

He added that the suspects, in their 40s, were arrested in Kelana Jaya at about 10.15pm the same day.

"We also seized the suspects' mobile phones and paraphernalia used in sex acts," he said when contacted on Wednesday (July 13).

The suspects have been remanded until July 19, ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin added.
