King and Queen express condolences over passing of Abe

KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have conveyed their condolences to the family of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, who was assassinated yesterday.

In a post on Istana Negara’s Facebook, their Majesties expressed sadness over his passing and hoped that the family would be resilient in this time of sorrow.
