Judges bound by precedents in deciding on constitutional issues, says Chief Justice

KUALA LUMPUR: The judiciary is merely defending its judicial functions by using precedents to decide on constitutional issues, says Chief Justice Tun Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat.

She said there may be some who think that the judiciary was now more powerful than before following decisions on constitutional issues of late.
