Bomba carries out high-rise kitty rescue

KUALA LUMPUR: Even cats need a helping hand from the men in red every now and then.

Despite having nine lives, a cat did not take any chances after it got stuck on the 21st floor of the Taman Mulia PPR flats here on Tuesday (June 14).

A distress call was made to the Fire and Rescue Department and a team was rushed to the scene.

"The responding team utilised a safety harness to conduct the operation safely, which was required due to the height the operation was conducted.

"The cat was safely rescued," the city Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement.
