PUTRAJAYA: The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) has released the Islamic Calendar, Takwim 2022 Miladiah/ 1443-1444 Hijriah For Malaysia (Syawal 1443H Updated Edition) at https://www.e-solat.gov.my/.

Jakim's Head of Corporate Communications Unit, Zakaria Othman in a statement on Saturday (May 14) said the calendar was updated following the change in the date of 1 Syawal 1443H, which fell on May 2, 2022, as declared by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, compared to the Takwim 2022 that was released earlier which stated May 3, 2022.

He said the change only involved the month of May 2022/Syawal 1443H, while the other months were not affected.

"Hopefully, the calendar can help facilitate the organisation of daily activities, worship and affairs of the lives of Muslims in the country," he said. - Bernama
