Ops Selamat 18: Police recorded slight increase in traffic accidents during Raya period, says IGP

PETALING JAYA: The "Balik Kampung" exodus saw five million vehicles on the roads throughout the duration of Ops Selamat 18.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah, in a statement Friday (May 13), said that statistics showed a slight increase in accidents when compared to the last Hari Raya-focused Ops Selamat in 2019.
