Loss of workers to construction sector among reasons for Ipoh's waste-collection woes

IPOH: A lack of manpower is one reason why several areas here are facing waste-collection problems, says mayor Datuk Rumaizi Baharin.

He said Majuperak Utilities Management Sdn bhd (MUMSB) had been dealing with the matter since April after losing many workers to the construction sector.
