Covid-19: 1,054 new cases bring total to 4,452,835


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,054 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (May 4), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's CovidNow portal, 1,053 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there was 1 imported case.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,452,835 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 3 deaths were recorded on Wednesday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 35,567.
