18 years’ jail and rotan for rape

SIBU: A soldier has been sentenced to 18 years’ jail and 34 strokes of the rotan by the Sessions Court for raping and sexually assaulting his daughter.

The accused pleaded guilty before judge Marutin Pagan yesterday to raping his 16-year-old daughter three times in their room of a longhouse from March 11 to April 26.
