Malaysia lacks international respect due to incessant party-hopping, claims Dr M


PETALING JAYA: The current political instability caused by party-hopping involving elected leaders is one of the reasons why Malaysia is not respected by other countries, claims Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (Pejuang-Langkawi).

Dr Mahathir also said the slew of defections that culminated in the formation of the government led by Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional has led to Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s position as premier to be disputed.
