PETALING JAYA: Malaysia detected 10,177 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday (April 9), bringing the cumulative total number of cases in the country to 4,317,706 since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry's CovidNow portal reported that there were only 53 imported cases on Saturday, while the remaining 10,124 infections were locally transmitted.
