MELAKA: Authorities will be monitoring Ramadan buffets in the state to ensure that prices are not hiked excessively when the fasting month starts on Monday (April 4), says a Melaka exco member.
State unity, community relationship, human resource and consumer affairs committee chairman Ngwe Hee Sem said surprise checks would be conducted at hotels as well as restaurants offering buffets.
