Smell of smoke saves terrace house from blaze caused by unattended pot on stove

ISKANDAR PUTERI: A single-storey terrace house was spared from a fire in the nick of time when a housewife smelled something burning coming from her neighbour’s house.

Iskandar Puteri Fire and Rescue station chief Mohd Khairi Zainudin said the neighbour was cooking something on the stove and had left it unattended.
