Bitcoin miners fined RM75,000, jailed 14 days each for bribing TNB employee

SEREMBAN: Two men were jailed 14 days and fined RM75,000 each by the Sessions Court here for bribing a Tenaga Nasional Bhd employee with RM15,000.

Goh How Keong, 50, and Gan Tze Lee, 49 were charged with bribing a Tenaga officer as inducement not to take action against them for stealing electricity to mine cryptocurrency at several premises here and in Senawang.
