Floods: Cars trapped, trees uprooted in Cheras


KUALA LUMPUR: Flash floods and uprooted trees have been reported in several areas of Cheras on Monday (March 7) evening.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said floods had affected several areas including near Sunway Velocity Mall, Jalan Tasek Selatan, the Kesas Highway (near Awan Naik), the road near Bukit Jalil police station, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Salak Selatan, Bukit Jalil Highway and MRR2 near Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS).
