Johor polls: More manpower to be deployed if needed to ensure smooth election period, says state top cop

MERSING: Manpower will be increased if needed to better control and monitor the crowd throughout the upcoming Johor state election period, from the nomination day to the polling day, says Johor police.

State police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said that this is in line with the new standard operating procedure (SOP) that has been announced by the Election Commission (EC).
