Covid-19: ‘Wait-and-see' attitude cited for few children vaccinated in Labuan

LABUAN: The 'wait-and-see' attitude among parents has been cited as a reason for the low percentage of children getting vaccinated in Labuan under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

Labuan Health Department director Dr Ismuni Bohari said only 6.9% or 809 of the 11,700 targeted children have so far received the shots, after PICKids was launched on Feb 7.
