JOHOR BARU: Johor PKR women's wing chief Napsiah Khamis has told Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) that she is too busy to entertain their calls.

She posted on her Facebook on Thursday (Feb 10) to express her annoyance about a Muda candidate, which she did not name, who kept on messaging her.

"Adoi.. this Muda candidate keeps on messaging asking me to teach.

"Sister is busy with work... wait till I'm free," she said.

Meanwhile, Muda secretary-general Amira Aisya Abd Aziz admitted she was the one who messaged Napsiah.

She tweeted that she texted Napsiah in her capacity as Muda secretary-general and always respected those that had been in politics for a long time.

"In the spirit of friendship and respect to Napsiah, I will continue to communicate.

"Sorry for the disturbance. Hope we can move forward together," she said.

Napsiah recently had questioned Parti Amanah Negara's decision to hand over the Puteri Wangsa seat to Muda.

PKR and Muda have been locked in a public feud following DAP and Amanah handing over six state seats to the new party for the Johor polls.

On Wednesday, DAP, Amanah and Muda reached a consensus between them with Muda being given to contest in the following seats - Tenang, Bukit Kepong, Parit Raja, Machap, Puteri Wangsa and Bukit Permai.

Among the other consensus achieved by the three parties were that Amanah, DAP and Muda would combine their election machinery to support all of their candidates.

Nominations for the Johor state election had been set on Feb 26 and polling on March 12.

Parit Raja and Machap was previously won and contested by Umno in the 14th general election.

Tenang, Bukit Kepong, Puteri Wangsa and Bukit Permai were contested and won by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia during the 14th General Election, when it was still a part of the Pakatan Harapan coalition.
