Covid-19 Watch: More than 60,000 children in Malaysia given vaccine


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 62,809 children between five and 11 years old, or 1.7% of those in that age bracket, have received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as of Wednesday (Feb 9).

They were vaccinated under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) that was launched on Feb 3, and will receive the second dose after an eight-week interval.
