KUALA LUMPUR: Police have almost completed their investigation of the sexual harrassment allegations against celebrity preacher Ebit Lew.
Federal CID director Comm Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan said the investigation paper would be referred to the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) soon.
"There are some fine details we need to attend to with regard to the investigation paper.
"Once that is done we will refer it to the AGC," he told reporters at Bukit Aman on Thursday (Feb 3).
Last month, it was reported that the investigation paper on the sexual harassment claims involving Lew had been completed and referred to the AGC, with police awaiting further instructions.
On Oct 1, the preacher and his wife were called up by police after sexual harassment claims were made against him.
Videos and messages purportedly by the famous preacher had been circulated on Telegram a few months ago.
In the videos, a man who resembled the preacher could be seen performing indecent acts on camera.
