PETALING JAYA: Vaccination centres (PPV) under ProtectHealth for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) will operate on selected days starting Thursday (Feb 3).

ProtectHealth said in a statement on Monday (Jan 31) that integrated PPVs in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will begin PICKids inoculations from Thursday while selected off-site PPVs in Kuala Lumpur will start on Saturday (Feb 5).

These PPVs will operate from Mondays to Sundays, the statement added.

Off-site PPVs in Selangor will begin PICKids operations from Saturday and operate on weekends, while selected private hospital PPV will begin from next Monday (Feb 7) and operate on selected days.

ProtectHealth chief executive officer Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli said it would ensure that all vaccination centres were fully prepared to accommodate children aged five to 12 for their vaccinations.

“We encourage private paediatricians and private specialist clinics to participate in the programme as well,” he added.
