Floods: Number of evacuees at Marudi relief centre increases to 27


KUCHING: The floods that hit Sarawak again since Saturday (Jan 29) have, so far, not subsided and the number of evacuees at the flood relief centre in Marudi, increased to 27 people by 3pm Sunday (Jan 30) from 17 individuals at 11am.

A statement from the State Disaster Management Committee secretariat said the one relief centre had been operating since Saturday evening at Dewan Suarah Marudi.
