Johor polls: BN appoints Tok Mat election director, Hasni is chief coordinator


JOHOR BARU: The Barisan Nasional (BN) leadership has appointed its deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan (pic) as election director for the upcoming Johor state election.

Barisan secretary-general Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said, in a statement, that the decision was made after a meeting held with Barisan leadership on Friday (Jan 28).

"The meeting also discussed the Johor election. Hence, it has been decided that Mohamad would be the election director while (caretaker mentri besar) Datuk Hasni Mohammad will be chief coordinator.

"In the meeting, it was also agreed that Barisan would further strengtern its election machinery and work together under the Barisan logo," he said.
