SHAH ALAM: The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) will distribute aid in the form of cash vouchers totalling 300,000 Swiss francs (over RM1.2mil) that will benefit over 2,000 families affected by the recent floods.
MRCS chairman Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah said the funds were from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and it was their responsibility to distribute the aid from Geneva within three months.
