Cabinet minister, Queen visit Dr M at IJN

PETALING JAYA: A Cabinet minister was seen arriving at the National Heart Institute (IJN), where former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had been readmitted.

The minister, in a white SUV, arrived at around noon on Sunday (Jan 23).

Earlier, a car carrying Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah was also seen leaving the hospital, where she rolled down the window and waved to the media, at 9.30am.

However, as of press time, there was no official statement made by Istana Negara regarding the visit.

Media practitioners continue to gather at IJN since early this morning, to observe updates on the health of the 96-year old Langkawi MP.
