Covid-19: Total of 88% of adolescents in M'sia fully vaxxed as of Tuesday (Jan 11)

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 2,768,673 adolescents, or 88% of those aged between 12 and 17 years old, in Malaysia completed their Covid-19 vaccinations as of Tuesday (Jan 11).

Based on the Health Ministry’s data on its CovidNow portal, 2,858,109 adolescents, or 90.8% of the group, have received at least one dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine.

As for the adult population, 22,889,297 individuals, or 97.8%, have completed their vaccinations, while 23,172,722, or 99% of those eligible, have received at least one dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine.

Meanwhile, according to the ministry’s data on the GitHub repository, a total of 27 deaths were recorded on Tuesday, with nine of them being deaths outside of hospital facilities. - Bernama
