GEORGE TOWN: The annual Chief Minister’s Chinese New Year open house will not be held for the second year in a row in view of the current situation in the country, which has yet to fully emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The state Information Department said in a statement this was decided after taking the safety of the public into consideration.
