Floods: More families return home as evacuation relief centres close

JOHOR BARU: The number of flood evacuees in Johor has declined to 2,679 victims from 757 families as of 8pm on Monday (Jan 10), compared to 2,935 people from 846 families at 4pm.

State Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan (pic) said the victims were taking shelter at 36 temporary relief centres (PPS) in four districts affected by flood.
