Ayob Khan appointed as new Bukit Aman NCID director


KUALA LUMPUR: Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay (pic) has been appointed as the new Bukit Aman Narcotic Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director.

The Johor police chief will be taking over from Comm Datuk Razarudin Husain, who was recently appointed Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

The Royal Malaysia Police secretary Deputy Comm Ruslan Khalid said Kedah police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat will take over as Johor police chief.

"Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS) deputy director Deputy Comm Datuk Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad will take over as Kedah police chief with the rank of Commissioner," he said in a statement on Friday (Dec 24).

DCP Ruslan said all transfers will come into effect on Jan 25.
