Sarawak Polls: First woman candidate from GPS records win, takes Dalat with whopping 7,085-vote majority


KUCHING: The first of the 45 women candidates from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, has won the Dalat seat with a thumping majority of 7,085 votes.

She was involved in a straight fight with Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Salleh Mahali, who only garnered 460 votes.
