192 Bau residents in S'wak get RM9.648mil in compensation for acquired land


BAU: A total of 192 residents of Bau, about 35.2km from Kuching, received RM9.648mil in compensation for land acquired for two government development projects at the Dewan Redeems Centre in Singai here Saturday (Nov 27).

A total of RM5.56mil was paid out to 163 residents for the Kampung Tanjung Poting, Tanjung Senibong and Tanjung Bowang road upgrade project while another RM4.088mil was paid to 29 other residents for the road project in Kampung Apar.
