Telcos to be offered less than 20 sen per gigabyte under national 5G plan, says Finance Minister

KUALA LUMPUR: Telecommunications companies will be offered less than 20 sen per gigabyte under the national 5G rollout plan, says Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

The Finance Minister said that this will be done so that the price offered is fair and geared towards development rather than profit, adding that the pricing has been almost finalised and is waiting for Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) approval.
