Over half a million PTPTN borrowers yet to repay loans


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 539,284 National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers have never repaid their loans as at Sept 30, says the Higher Education Ministry.

In a reply posted on the Parliament website Wednesday (Nov 24), it said there were 2,424,009 borrowers who had completed their studies and were supposed to repay their loans amounting to almost RM24.6bil.
