KUCHING: The coming Sarawak state election is likely to see a ban on physical campaigning, including in longhouses, based on the standard operating procedures used in the Melaka polls.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah said he expected the Election Commission (EC) and Health Ministry to put in place stringent SOPs as protective measures against the spread of Covid-19 during the election.
